NewTry your own return
You can now set a custom real return and see how your plan holds up against the return Arthea projects. On the Compare page, choose What if returns are lower — or higher — than the model expects? and use the slider to set any return. All returns are real (after inflation), not nominal. All dollars continue to be in today’s dollars.
NewSupport pages
You can now send us feature requests and bug reports. Go to the support page after signing in or click the support icon in the top right of any page.
ChangedAlternate Scenarios to RRSP meltdown now lives on Compare
The new When should our RRSP withdrawals start? option compares three meltdown scenarios side by side: starting withdrawals at 55, following your current plan, and waiting until 72. It replaces the RRSP Meltdown tab on the Forecast page.
ImprovedPrices you entered yourself are marked
A holding whose price you typed in yourself now says so, so you know to keep it up to date.
ImprovedThe Planning Workbook help explains withdrawal order
Arthea’s help now explains the order in which it draws from your accounts in retirement, for example which accounts it uses first and why. Knowing the order makes it easier to understand how your forecast is built and why your balances change the way they do. You’ll find it in [Help/Planning WorkBook Tab].

NewMutual Funds Support
Canadian mutual funds are identified by FundSERV codes (e.g., ATL8012, TDB2532), while data providers like Yahoo Finance and Morningstar use their own identifiers (e.g., 0P00035XTD.TO, 0P00017KH3.TO). To bridge this gap, we’ve added a security lookup: as you type a security, you can select the exact matching fund from our database. This ensures each holding is linked to the right identifier, so pricing refreshes are accurate.
